Welcome back everyone! Today I have a pretty entertaining and helpful YouTube series to share. I stumbled across this while I was searching for painting techniques on YouTube. The instructor, John Myatt, use to illegally forge master paintings and sell them for tons of money. He was busted, served his time, and now instructs and sells legit copies. It’s interesting to hear him point out techniques that the masters used…specific techniques that were significant to their style.

Throughout the first season he’ll cover Hopper, Monet, Van Gogh, Sargent, Modigliani, Renoir, Hockney, Braque, Derain, and Cezanne. They may spark some creativity in you!
